Disclaimers & Warnings

Version 1.0 · Effective 6 November 2026

1. Scores

Your bests are saved in your browser. Season scores are saved to our server when you are signed in, and are reviewed before any prize is paid.

2. Meme Market is paper trading

Meme Market uses virtual cash and fictional coins. Prices come from a synthetic model, in-game news and other players' virtual trades, and are not linked to any real cryptocurrency, token, share or market. You cannot deposit, withdraw or redeem anything. In-game news is invented. Nothing in the game is investment advice.

3. Not affiliated with IIT

UnivBattles is an independent student project for IIT students. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run by any Indian Institute of Technology, the IIT Council, the Ministry of Education or the Government of India. Department names describe fields of study, and department badges are original artwork, not official logos.

4. Health and safety

Flashing lights

Some games use rapidly changing colours, flashes and moving patterns, especially Orbit, Dodge the Deadlines and new-best confetti. A small number of people may have seizures when exposed to these. If you or a relative has epilepsy, talk to a doctor before playing. Stop at once if you feel dizzy or notice twitching or altered vision. Turning on “reduce motion” in your device settings reduces animations.

Loud sounds and your voice

Worst Singer Alive and Scream Cat ask you to make loud or high sounds. Keep the volume comfortable, don't strain your voice, and be considerate of people near you.

Breaks

Take a break at least every hour, and stop if your hands, wrists or eyes feel tired.

5. Microphone

The microphone is used only after you press a button, in Scream Cat, Worst Singer Alive and Department Flight's “Record your own”. Audio is analysed in the open tab and never uploaded or saved by us. The microphone switches off when the game ends or you leave the page.

6. Browser voices

Department Flight speaks your word with your browser's built-in voice. Some browsers send that text to their own online service. Avoid typing anything private.

7. Credits and third-party media

All games, artwork and sounds are original unless stated.

8. Humour

Games such as Confidently Wrong and the in-game headlines are comedy. Any resemblance to real people, products or events is coincidental.
